Coverages Non-Standard Program
This program has been designed for “residual market” physicians such as those who are covered by the Medical Malpractice Insurance Pool (“MMIP”). It is about you and your practice and its central objective is to help restore you to the standard market.

Your policy is provided by Academic Medical Professionals Insurance Exchange Risk Retention Group* (“AMPIE RRG”). Even though your policy will be offered by an RRG, it is significantly reinsured for risk-bearing purposes by Lloyd’s of London.

The application process starts by having you complete a lengthy application including reporting your claims. The application asks you to help by working with an onsite investigation and by allowing us to talk to lawyers who may have defended you in the past. Follow the steps listed below to apply

To apply, please print out the application and release forms that are in the appropriately marked downloads below, and include the following with your application:
  1. Fully completed application, signed and dated
    (Do not leave anything blank!)
  2. Release, signed and dated
(this is part of the application)
  3. Curriculum Vitae
  4. Declaration page of current professional liability policy
  5. Claims History including detailed information of allegations, disposition, defense attorney,

    (if applicable)
  6. Copies of all current licenses
